Server or client unable to establish an encrypted TLS 1.2 connection

Princh requires an encrypted TLS 1.2 connection to be established from the server or client to the Princh Cloud servers.

In order to ensure reliable and secure data movement between Princh and the users device, an encrypted TLS 1.2 connection must be established from the server or client to the Princh Cloud servers. If your server or client cannot establish an encrypted TLS 1.2 connection to the Princh Cloud servers, please ensure that the following requirements are met:

  1.  Make sure the Microsoft Windows system meets the requirements.
    1. The minimum requirements are Microsoft Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2.

  2. Make sure all available security updates are installed (WSUS). To activate TLS 1.2, please make sure WinHTTP is fully up to date with the latest version applied.

  3. Make sure the SQL Server is fully up to date with the latest version applied.

  4. Make sure .NET Framework 4.8 or newer has successfully been installed on the system.

  5. If none of the above works, please contact Princh support for further assistance.

For more information about how to enable TLS 1.2 on your server/client, please refer to Microsoft's article, detailing how to enable TLS 1.2.
