The following Public PC Requirements must be met in order to successfully implement and use Princh for Public PC's.
The Princh Cloud Printer software is delivered as an executable installation package that can be installed manually on each public PC or distributed via various deployment software e.g. SCCM.
The extended Princh Cloud Printer Technical Requirements can be downloaded in a PDF-version.
Minimum hardware requirements for client PCs:
- 1,5 GHz processor.
- 2 GB RAM.
- 500 MB free disk space.
- Stable internet connection (cable or Wi-Fi).
- The device(s) must be configured with the correct time and date according to your local standards. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to configure the device to connect to a local time server.
Software requirements:
- Windows 8 or later.
- .NET Framework 4.8 or newer must be installed.
- Debian (e.g. Ubuntu) or Red Hat based Linux.
We also recommend that you deactivate or remove any 3rd party printing software before installing the Princh Cloud Printer (PCP) software to avoid any interference during the installation and configuration process.
