"Printer was offline"

The "Printer was offline" error status indicates that the printer was unreachable at the time of the affected print order being sent.

Error:

If the printer is listed as offline in the Princh Administration Panel, it indicates that the printer was previously connected to Princh, but is currently inaccessible. This issue can mainly occur when the printer's IP address cannot be reached within the local network. If you are experiencing this problem with your Princh printer(s), please refer to the solutions provided below.

Solution:

  1. Make sure there are no errors at the printer by checking the printer panel and status in the Princh Administration Panel:
    1. Ensure the affected printer is turned on, connected to the internet, and that no error messages are displayed on the printer panel.
    2. If the printer still remains listed as 'offline' in the Princh Administration Panel, we recommend rebooting the printer to resolve the issue.
    3. If the issue persists following a printer reboot, we suggest also restarting the Princh Cloud Connector from the Princh Administration Panel.
  2. If none of the solutions provided above above works, we recommend:
    1. Ensure that the printer has the same IP-address, and that it is set to have a static IP-address.
      1. Double check that it matches the IP-address used in the Princh Administration Panel.
    2. Ensure that the printer IP-address is reachable from the print server.
      1. Attempt to ping the IP-address directly from the print server to ensure that the IP-address is reachable.

If none of the solutions above resolve the issues, please contact Princh Support for further assistance.
