Connector outdated

Keeping the Princh Cloud Connector updated is crucial to ensuring a smooth operation of Princh.

Error:

If your Princh Cloud Connector is outdated, it will be indicated in the Princh Administration Panel under the 'Connectors' tab. If the 'Version' number is listed in green font, the connector is up to date with the latest version. If the connector version is listed in red font, the connector is outdated and needs to be updated manually.

The Princh Cloud Connector installation package comes with a built-in service that automatically updates the connector to the latest version. However, there may be cases where this automatic updater service is unable to run or encounters other issues. If you notice an outdated connector, please refer to the solution detailed below.


Solution:

  1. Go to "Services" on the machine where Princh Cloud Connector was installed.
  2. Search for "PrinchCloudConnector" in Services.
  3. Right-click it and select "Stop".
  4. Once the "PrinchCloudConnector" service is stopped, select the "PrinchSoftwareUpdater" service and select "Restart".
  5. After the "PrinchSoftwareUpdater" has restarted, start the "PrinchCloudConnector" service again.
  6. Navigate to the Princh Administration Panel to the tab 'Connectors' and check if the Princh Cloud Connector has been updated to the latest version.
