Tablet is frozen on a blue screen
If your Princh Cloud Console app displays a blue screen with no button- or login options, it is likely due to an outdated version of the Android System WebView.
Error:
Although encountering the blue issue is not common, we have found that it is primarily triggered by using an outdated version of the the Android System WebView. Updating the client will in many cases resolve the issue.
Solution:
- On your tablet, open up the the Google Play Store application.
- Search for "Android System WebView".
- The name may differ slightly based on your location. If the application doesn't appear, search for "WebView".
- Click the "Update" button.
- Once the update is complete, simply restart your tablet and reopen the Princh Cloud Console application.
If updating the Android System WebView did not resolve the issue, we recommend attempting the following:
- Before proceeding, please ensure that either Copy, Scan or the Manual Release feature has been enabled on the printer through the Princh Administration Panel.
- If neither option is enabled, you will not see any choices on the blue screen.
- If neither option is enabled, you will not see any choices on the blue screen.
